Question:

My mouse is not working?

Ok my mouse is not working and hasn't been today. I recently added and removed a graphics card - that wouldn't let me online. Now I can't get a mouse to work!

I also added a 100GB hard to my computer. I know its in right, my dad did it him self, but could this be conflicting with the mouse? I've tried 3 different mouses and I'm at a lost at why it wouldn't work.

Any and all help will be useful. I have other questions that may further help you guys answer this and help me out.

  1. I am pretty sure you must have to have drivers for the mouse, and, no clue about the graphics card. You must be cursed, eh?

  2. Is it a USB Mouse? Check to make sure USB Drivers are working. Use a thumb drive or a Xbox 360 Controller or a iPod to check the USB ports. You may have to reinstall your Motherboard drivers.

Windows has had generic mouse drivers forever so its more than likely a USB issue.

  3. Try Adjusting the mouse settings

so that it works on your computer

or your mouse slot is not working

or try reinstalling all your USB drives
