My mouse keeps freezing when i'm playing nancy drew

i am playing nancy drew; danger by design and my mouse keeps freezing. all i have to do to fix it is minimize the game and then bring it up again....but why is it doing this? it did it when i played the other games too....and i have windows vista.

My daughter plays all of the Nancy Drew games and doesn't seem to encounter this problem. Perhaps it is unique to Vista.

I would try to adjust the mouse sensitivity and see of that has any affect.

it's because computer games are big and freeze the computer.

its just the game. just be sure to clean up your computer once and a while to prevent virus.

No, You don't have a virus. Some games like that are poorly made and freeze up a lot. Don't worry its a common problem to me too. But yet, with a different game. Also with the platform you are using may not support that certain game on full quality. (vista)

I also tried playing these games on Vista. Vista is a very powerful type of program for your computer, there's a numerous amount of reasons this could be happening.

1.Vista is too Strong.

2.Did you leave MSN or Ares/Limewire Running? Make sure the icons aren't even at the bottom of the screen.

3.Your settings might not be correct. Go to control panel and check them to suit the game. {Check the box for info.}

4. You could have a virus. Run a virus check. It can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 or 3 hours, depending on how much space it taken up on your hard drive.

you either have virus or there is something wrong with the game so if you can do this right click on the icon and press scan it will find out if there are bad stuff

its because your mouse is to old and if its new thats not good you probably have a virus get a wireless one they cant get a virus

you have a virus. This hapened to me 2. Just scan your computer (just takes a few minutes) and destroy the virus. after that yourmouse should stop acting up, and your computer will be faster
