My mouth hurts horribly and I just got braces today please help!?

I just got braces today and one of my teeth hurt horribly how do I stop

this pain and my mouth does not have severe problems how long will it take PLEASE!!!!

i had that problem too,but i just took some advil which helped

take an ibuprofen, it will calm down the pain. I suggest you too, drink cold beverages and eat soft foods like custard, mashed potatoes, soups, baby food...

Tylenol Tylenol Tylenol Tylenol Tylenol and Tylenol. Actually i ate rice pudding, its soft cold and it feels really good to eat. Or any kind of pudding but rice is my favorite.

Try a few pain killers and drink/eat cold and soft food. Trust me we've (all of us who have braces) know your pain.

I get retainers in a few days since I (supposedly) get my braces off tomorrow and retainers are supposed to hurt slightly more than braces do so when you're in pain just think in a few days I'll be going through slightly worse than you! Not saying yours isn't sore but just know you're not going through it on your own.

Been through that =I

Tylenol,or I would say Ibrobrafin (dont know how to spell it,sorry)

But that would help...try to only eat liquids.

And the pain will cealr up soon only about 2-3 days of the pain and your good to go.
