My mouth is hurting me SOOO BAD what can i do?

my mouth has been hurting for 3 days, ive taken labout 6 ibprofen(sorry 4 spelling) and my mom gave me amoxicillian (shes a nurse and thinks it an infection)

but is there anything i can do i cant eat, my mouth is open because of swelling, and it burns when i put something in it

its just getting unbearable...

You need to see a dentist, don't leave it. Sounds like you need an extraction or root canal. Keep taking the antibiotics though until you see your dentist because that will bring the swelling/infection down. Put ice on the cheek where its swollen. Can you find an emergency dentist? Call the hospital they can direct you if its the evening.

I am very concerned that you have stated your "mouth is open because of the swelling," and "I can't eat."  If you are having trouble eating, swallowing, or breathing you need to get to an emergency room ASAP!  It is not uncommon for a dental infection to swell so rapidly and large you can't breathe!  Basically put, some untreated dental infections can kill you.

It probably is some kind of infection. Your mother was probably right on that one. Swelling is serious. You may have an allergic reaction to something! See a dentist as soon as possible and if swelling gets worse see a doctor ASAP!

You need to get to your dentist ASAP.  Infection can and does spread from the mouth to the rest of your body.  The problem needs to be properly diagnosed before any treatment can be started.  A symptom as vague as "my mouth is hurting" accompanied with swelling indicates that you need immediate professional attention.
