My moving list Narrowing help me pinpoint?

So in the last month I have taken 3 trips around the beauitful United Kingdom. We have narrowed our move from Glasgow via Sweden last month to a handfull of place and would like some insight.

As a backround if you care we are working professionals in our mid to late 20's that love nature but also fashion but not s****. people or lazy bums. So you see my problem in finding a place to live. I am in the Fitness industry and my wife is a Web Master with her own buisness.

On our list was Harrogate but we spend 2 days there and it has not place to Swim and they were alittle s****. and we look smart. I would have choosen there maybe if there was water around.

We really liked Bath but again not to much water and kind of dirty.

Cheltenham same thing about water but beauitful area. We did not like anything around London sorry. In the South West we really liked dorchester in Dorset but I do not know if it is too small. I really am intrested in Devon and Northern Corwall as well. Plaese Help

If Dorchester may be to small, there's really nothing for you in North Cornwall.

And, with admittedly a few exceptions, in Cornwall fashion is a verb.  It means, for example, to fix two pieces of wood together with a nail, or build a drystone wall: to fashion.  

Nature we have, from butterflies to the Beast of Bodmin (seen 100 yards from my house), and some of the best beaches and surfing in the country.

But to get the best of natural Cornwall, you need to be out of Truro, St Austell or Penzance, which are the only places that offer a population larger than Dorchester... A tension.

Do you want to swim outside in the sea? Or inside? Bath has the Roman Bath and Spa as well as sports centres.

I quite like Dorchester but it is not near a motorway so can be a bit trying to get places.

Have you considered Cheddar in Somerset which is a village or Wedmore which has just been voted best village to live in by the Telegraph newspaper.

Cornwall would give you lots of opportunity for surfing, but is mainly small towns and villages. Maybe consider visiting, Exeter or Plymouth or Torquay.

If you're thinking of moving to Bristol (where we have plenty of gyms etc. where you can work, with Weston nearby) then look at the neighbourhoods of Redland, Cotham, Montpelier, Southville and also some of the surrounding villages if you would prefer to live in the countryside.
