  1. Hi Keelie, I know the solution for this, have u got the solution or not yet, I've tried to contact u but u don't allow IM or even E-mail, its hard to tell u here what to do in details so if u like to, just send me an E-mail and I'll try to give u the directions or u can IM me too, best of luck

if u log in to my profile u will find all my details, feel free to contact me at anytime

    Best of luck

I'll add the answer for u here and if u needed any further information u contact me at any time:

    -first repair your MSN

    close MSN

    then go to

    start

    control panel

    add and remove programms

    'msn'

    'change'

when the wizard appears select 'repair'

    wait until it finishes

    then sign in again

    and see if it works

-check if you have some kind of virus, (scan your pc)

    - if you are running a p2p (emule, ares) ,these use a lo of bandwidth when runnign full speed, .. (in this case, slow down the p2p and restart the router) ..

-check if you installed a skin, scipt, plugin, animated display or sth. recently .. that might be the reason ..

-check if the version MSN is according to your operating system and hardware

-when nothing helps, Remove MSN from add or remove programs and install it again

    Best of luck

  2. That happens to me sometimes.  If you close the chat window and try sending them a new message, it usually clear up.  It is annoying though.

Update:  I'm not sure why it happens, but it happens with the official MSN client and other 3rd party clients (like Pidgin).  It's a problem with Microsoft's MSN server software.  Hopefully they are fixing it.
