I am on a diet right now so I am concerned about what I'm eating. So this box of nuts says:

Ingredients: Peanuts, beans, corn, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, walnuts, veg.oil, salt.

Contains garlic,curry, chilli flavor

This product contains genetically modified organisms.

Is the above information healthy? Healthy or not... now i have to eat them because mum bought them to me to replace the snacks with nuts. Answer me please..! Thanks

  1. If you're on a diet, nuts are something you'd want to stay away from.  They are good for you, but they have a lot of fat in them.  This will make losing weight more difficult.

Email me if you have anymore questions.

  2. That is a healthy choice. You don't need to eat a lot though. You might notice that it may have a lot of fat. But its the good fat. We all need fat in us. Its the saturated and trans fat that you need to stay away from. The monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are the good fats which is probably what the label says. Resources say to eat trailmix as a snack and the big reason is because of the nuts. Plus nuts like almonds have vitamin e and antioxidants among other things that are very good for you.

Look on naturalnews.com. It will have a lot of answers for you. I found a lot for almonds but its too much good info to put on here.

  3. kallisti1987 gave you the wrong website to go to its actually http://www.my-calorie-counter.com/?xid=M...

  4. go to www.calorie-counter.com they're great for providing nutritional information as well as calories.

  5. I doubt they will kill you. Nuts are loaded with protien (especially almonds). I'm sure the extra flavoring won't hurt you.

But like with anything, don't just eat all of them in one sitting.
