my mum and dad are divorced and today in a fight with my mum she said that keeping me in her custody was the world mistake in her life, why won't she apologise even after i said she should why?

People say things they don't mean when they are angry.  Let her cool down and then talk to her again.

  First off sweetheart, you not a mistake. God made you special, there isn't another like you. He formed you inside your mums belly and knew your name before you were born. God doesn't make mistakes, God is perfect in every way, so it's impossible for you to be a mistake. Honey, people say things when their angry and they really don't mean them sometimes. You mum got angry and said an awful thing to you and I hope that your feeling better now. Just let her cool off and you tell her you love her, that will make her think about the special little girl that God has given her. You take care and cheer up sweertheart.

well sometime people say stuff out of madness, depending on which parent is the best for you, you should live with, i always wanted to live with my father but I found out he wasnt the parent for me, he is in jail now and im glad to be living with my mother

ha my parents are divorced to. it totally sux. ii hadda deal with it in 3rd grade, with my brother. u cant d anything about it. TRUST ME i hid the divorce papers and wouldnt give them to my parents. but than i didnt want them to get mad at me so i game them to them,, but u have to cut me sum slack, i was in 3rd grade

I am really sorry. My mom says stuff like that to me all of the time, and never apologizes. A lot of the things parents say and don't apologize to USUALLY means they mean it, but not always. Ask her when shes calm if she meant it, and watch the way she answers and reacts. It is usually a sign on if they meant it or not

People often say things they don't mean when they are upset, give her some time to cool off.

Maybe you give her good reasons to feel the way she does? What was the fight about? Do you show her respect?

I don't agree with what your mother said to you, but we need to hear the whole story and what the fight was about, and how your relationship is with her before we can make a decision on a comment your mother said to you.
