  1. Sorry but I have 5 cousins that were home schooled and they are probably smarter than most of the kids there age.

It might depend on the teaching and what you are learning.

  2. When i say this i am saying it as if I was Myslef Talkin too my mum...

This is a great way for us to get to know eachother, not only that you will always know how i am doing and you can work me at the speed that you think i should be at!

Hope i was some help, But truthfuly I Say just go to school...

  3. I home school, and i love it!  there are serveral obvious advantages to homeschooling

1: you get to spend quality time with your mom and any siblings that might homeschool also.

2: you can recive more individual attention to subjects you struggle with.

3: you are less likely to get involved with gangs or drugs or stuff like if you dont go to school cause you won't be as exposed.

4: You can do school in ur p.j.s (i love that one!)

  4. I want to be homeschooled too. I showed my mom aophomeschooling.com. Go to that website, they have sample pages of the texybooks. You can also get a free catalog. I have one, and now my mom is considering homeschooling me, because I have a hard time in math.

  5. I guess the first question is, why do YOU want to do it? That may not turn out to be the best argument to present to your mother but it's good to understand what you're hoping to get out of it first.

Why is it good. Academic success is a good one to point out to parents, on average home educated children are ahead of their schooled peers. It will remove you from the negative social aspects of school, peer pressure, bullying etc. It will allow you to follow your interests. Depending on how old you are and whether or not you know what you want to do with your life you can argue that it will allow you to focus on those goals and not be distracted by all the incidental stuff at school.

Look for pro-HS web sites and news articles.

    What state/country are you in?

  6. talk to here and tell here that it's good, show her website's or email me because i'm 14 and i have home education and i think it's brill.

    my email is missstaceypink13@yahoo.co.uk

    hope this helped

    good luck

  7. Maybe if you are willing to take the time to research it good and bad for both public and homeschooling that would help. Maybe you need to find a way to prove to her you mean it. Sit down , tell her how you feel, explain why you feel the way you do and just ask her for a chance to prove yourself. Good luck.

  8. Only a handfull of parents can effectively and successfully home school their children.  Of those that do, the social interaction with other children is an important social skill that home school children need to thrive in today's culture and world.  Could be quite a shock and that is why I don't recommend it.
