My mum is not terribly supportive of my dreams?

My mum is not terribly supportive of my dreams?

I know it is impossible to change her mind, but still. She doesn't realize that these are what I want.

* To join the SAS Mobility Troop with Explosives training.

* To be 6 feet 8 inches

* To be an actor

IDK why! It's my life!

PS: For anyone who is going to lecture me on the SAS, killing isn't cool, they are the weakest regiment ever, etc, don't even bother. The SAS are the most elite SF regiment ever and NOTHING will change that or the fact I want to join them. If Americans are so sasd that they can't admit the british people have something better then you are the weakest people ever. This is not realted to puberty as I have wanted to join since I was 11.

  1. at the end of the day it your life, if your mum dosnt support your dreams then its tough! its your life and you need to live it your way not for somebody else.

    and your mum should support you in whatever you do and should be happy that your happy

  2. Well, I don't know if being 6 foot 8 is possible for you... That one's predetermined based on genetics. As for the other two, however, just go for it. It's your life, after all. Yeah, it sucks sometimes when your family isn't supportive, but you have to push forward and go for it if you really want it.

    Personally, music is my passion, and my life. My mom has told me for the past two years, since I really decided that I was going to pursue playing music as my career and livelihood, that it's a ridiculous dream and that it won't happen for me. I'm doing it anyway, and yeah, bills are high and money is a little tight, but I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life.

    You just gotta go for it regardless of what other people say.
