  1. write a note-and mail it-leave it for her to read when you are not around...explaining your side

  2. **** your mom she's obviously a *****.sorry about the language.

  3. Not get in trouble?

  4. If it were really serious trouble, you'd be dead, paralyzed or on life support now. This is where some good kids I've known have ended up from making bad choices. It's also where some good kids I know ended up because somebody else made bad choices.

Why should your mother protect you from the natural consequences of your own actions? I work with some parents who always take their kid's side. Let me tell you, those parents are setting their kids up for a lifetime of not being able to hold down a job. Following rules and the directions of people in authority, even if they are sometimes wrong, is more important when you get out of school, not less so.

A natural consequence of  a bad choice is fewer choices, fewer options. If you need a scholarship to attend school or training, it is a privilege, not a right for you. It may be taken away. You were probably chosen for the scholarship over other kids who don't get into trouble. How is it fair that you get to come back, and those other kids never even get the chance that you had?

You could have been thrown out altogether. Suspension is also called a second chance. If you make good use of your second chance, people remember that. If you pull the same old c**p when you're given a second chance, people remember that, too.
