My mum wont let me...?

pluck or thread my eyebrows...what is the reason for this? what should i do?i got few hairs in the middle..i dont want to shave it.

i look on the tv and those actors ad advrtisers look beautifulll because they have done their eyebrows and it frames their face.please advise me.thankyou.

Its fine to do your eyebrows if your willing to do it regularly. Plucking your eyebrows leads to increased hair growth. So take a chance.

Do a little bitty bit at a time every other day and she may not notice it.  Worked with me!  Just remember the saying....it's easier to take the punishment than it is to beg the permission...

Explain to her why you want to pluck your eyebrows.

Show her the hairs and tell her that it makes YOU feel uncomfortable. Try to avoid things like "my friends do" or "sarah's mom lets her!" or "look at Angelina Jolie's eyebrows!". Mom's dont respond well to peer pressure as your reason for wanting to do something.

Ask her her reasons for not allowing you to do this.

If it is cost, offer to earn the money to buy your own tweezers and tell her you want to do it yourself.

Explain that you don't want to shave it because it could become red or irritated, making it worse.

If your mom has great eyebrows ask her what she does to keep hers nice.

If she doesn't suggest you two go get a wax together for the first time as a mother-daughter experience.
