My muscles are Hurting !?

Well i worked out for the first time im a long time,i got great results for the first day but my muscles hurt is there anyway to take care of that pain , Because i have to go to the gym tomarrow

  1. stretch, before and after. it makes a world of a difference.  


  2. I always have that problem right after I workout. Mine last a long time, you just have to take the pain. I know it hurts. Try swimming or taking a long hot shower or bubble bath.

  3. Well that is perfectly Normal the pain is your Lactic Acid which over time you well stop felling the pain after workouts.

    As for the pain?.. Rest is always the best, Try to workout a different muscle and to dole the pain "Icy hot" / Bag of ice always helps me.

    And for the rest giving your muscles 48 hour rest is the best not only for letting it heal but thats also when you get the most gains.

    stretching before makes you weak plus its  scientifically proven to do nothing beneficial except feel better

    you shouldnt work muscles everyday anyway. each muscle worked once a week is enough

    you grow when resting not when lifting

  5. That Icy Hot stuff works pretty good for a lil while.  Also if you drink plenty of water it will help too.

  6. no your sore. You should try to put something on them that relaxes them. But i wouldn't reccommend goingf to the gym again
