Everytime I go to paint my nails with my black nail polish, when I apply it onto my nail it wont like stick and when I leave it to dry, it turns like rubbery and the slightest tough against it makes it come off. Ive used it a couple times and ive never left it open for more than one minute. What can I do to try and fix it?

  1. It could be old, or you could be applying it too thick. I know that when I put it on too thick, it gets gooey and touching it messes it up. Try putting on thinner layers and if that doesn't work, buy new nail polish.

  2. if u keep it in the frige it might make it less rubbery

  3. get new nail polish.  maybe you're using a bad brand...try essie or OPI

  4. Thats a bad brand! Get a new brand..or try putting nailpolish remover in it:P Hopes I helped!

  5. that means that your polish is old.  you just need to get a new bottle and then it will go on smoothly.

  6. Sounds like your nail polish is old. You may not have had it very long. It could have been old when you bought it. I worked at a store that sold expensive cosmetics. The rep for one certain brand would come by ever so often and check our cosmetics. She would shake up all of the old nail polishes where they would mix pretty. They looked fresh and new. Our supervisor wanted us to do that ever so often through out the shift when the customers wasn't looking. I know it was dishonest. I didn't work there long after that. I felt like c**p for misleading customers. You can put your nail polish in the fridge in the vegetable crisper drawer to keep it fresh and not rubbery. I'd put it in a sandwich bag just in case it leaked. That would be heck to clean out of the fridge. It would be gross if got on other food. Leave it in there for 48 hours before you try ot use it again. That trick works. You won't have to throw you polish away.
