Question:

My name embarrasses me.?

My parents legally changed my name to Twinkie Binkie during my infant years on account of my constant need to be sucking on a Binky while simultaneously eating a Twinkie. Should I change my name or am i blessed to be so original and different?

Any name suggestions if i do change it? Possibly Mary-Anne? or Kate-Lou? I also enjoy Ophelila.

  1. That's awesome. Your parents are win.

  2. My goodness- if this is true... I would definitely change my name if that was me. I cant believe some of the names people come up with- its just rude, they think its cute, but they dont stop to consider the full time effects it will have on their kids..

I say go for the name change.

if you go to search for questions and type in baby names you will come up with a lot of great ones, unique and classic.

    Good luck!

  3. Change your name, your parents obviously didnt think it through or of you!! Not so Cute.  Yes, it is okay to give you a nickname but to change it legally...stupid.

I would just change it back to your original name...or Ophelila.  People will not take you seriously in the big world and it would save you time and problems with customer services on phone calls or in person.

  4. I love Ophelia. :)

  5. change it if you want it is your name!

  6. Ha! Keep it, Twinkie!

    That rocks!

  7. It sounds to me like you deserve a name like Twinkie Binkie!

  8. Well that is really out there. It almost sounds like your parents were stoners! Yes Change your name. Imagine if you were a doctor, "paging dr. twinkie binkie to the er....dr. twinkie binkie to the er" How creative but at the same time what a mean joke to play on your child!  It reminds me of the episode of friends where phoebe changes her name to princess consuela banana hammock, in which turn her husband got mad and changed his name to c**p bag. Good luck!!

  9. I think you should definitely change your name. That name is for a 2 year old. Also, the names you suggested for yourself are not too great either (Mary-Anne, Kate-Lou, Ophelila...) No offense.

    Some nice names are:

    Jessica

    Anastasia

    Stephanie

    Nicole

    Carrie

    Julia

    Amy

    Vanessa

    Amanda
