Hi Arthur.  Where do you live?  A lot depends on your Mom's interests.

How about a gift certificate to a beauty salon if she wants a manicure or hair cut

or a nice pair of gloves.  Moms never think to buy themselves things like that.

Mom would love to receive a card from you, and a hug and kiss and the words "I really Love You, Mom"

Hi Arthur,

If you are truly a boy of 13, I can indeed suggest to you what you might get your mom.

My son is turning 15 on Saturday.  Even now, I would love it if he would take the time to make me a card with all of the artistry he feels on it, or perhaps picked me a bunch of my favorite flowers - which are lilacs.  A truly long hug would also be nice.

Arthur, it's usually actions that come from the heart which we most appreciate.
