  1. If you are training with an instructor then he should be teaching you.  You don't do in to your school with a list of holds you found on the internet and say, "teach me these."

That's a major breech of protocol, especially for a black belt (who doesn't know how to spell the name of his art)

  2. 13 year old 'black belts' who can't spell Taekwondo properly shouldn't go boasting about their rank in any art. Especially considering that if you're training properly it takes about 4-5 years to earn a black belt, putting your training to start when you were 8 years old. Black belts aren't earned with belt fees and monthly rank exams, and require mental and spiritual maturity that 90% of kids your age don't even come close to. There are exceptions, as always, but considering how you're speaking here and what you're asking, I doubt highly that you fall into that category.

Secondly, black belt is not the peak of the mountain, it's only the first plateau. A black belt signifies only that you've become adept at the most basic of skills and are now ready to begin your ryu's true training.

As stated above, you learn them as you're ready, and going into your dojo saying "I wanna learn this list I got off the internet, so teach them to me" is going to get you into trouble. As a "black belt", you should know better than this.

  3. guillotine   ( choke)

    komora

more idk the spellings look these up on youtube...

  4. tae kwon "doe"? is that the female version of tae kwon "buck"?

  5. Kimura locks, kneebars, guillotine choke... check out submission101.com for other stuff...

But word of advice Bobby... I did Tae Kwon "Do" for 6 1/2 years and got my black belt. But I stopped at that point because I realized that I hadn't really earned anything. I see kids with terrible form and technique that earn new belts only because they paid for them (more accurately, their parents paid for them), so saying you're a black belt in TKD at the age of 13 doesn't say much except that your parents have money.

The reason I'm telling you this is because BJJ is no joke, I've never trained in it myself but my friends have, and I've seen and heard plenty about it. If you're going to a legit BJJ school (ex. Gracie-affiliated) you're not going to get a new belt every two months. You're actually going to have to work and earn them, you're gonna have to go out and win some competitions and prove that you deserve a new belt and that will take years and years of dedication and training.

  6. Not to be mean but my teacher always told me that SOME people who are in  black belt may think he is in black belt but does he know how to defend and apply those applications he learned since white belt? It all depends on you. you know...theres a proverb that says "Hard practice makes a good fighter" anyone can be in black belt, but it depends how hard you train and how deticated you are. just saying this because some people think black belt people are all of a sudden bruce lee.

  7. hey bobby u no wat u should do is go to this website

    http://submissions101.com/

they will ahev a lot of things that are useful including videos saying submission and takedown names and then they teach u how to do it

  8. Yer, lol, u should know how to spell ur art.

    Its Taekwondo for future reference.

I dnt think he means how do u do them, i think he just wants the names, which i personally find a strange request but meh, what the h**l.

Arm Bar & Triangle choke as u've already stated.

    Typical Leg Lock

    Americana

    Ankle Lock

    Bear Hug

    Can Opener

    Hammerlock

    Heel Hook

    Kimura

    Kneebar

    Neck Crank

    Omoplata

Im not sure which ones are directly associated with BJJ, however, they are some submission holds, just run them by your bjj instructor, he'll tell u which ones u do in BJJ.
