Jennifer is so overpopulated and i don't feel like an individualist. should i change it to Nifer? Niff-er not like Knifer hah. so do you approve of nifer?

It sounds like a nickname an 18 mo old would give you. I don't like it at all--what will people think when they see Nifer on a job application? They'll pass right over it and onto the next person.

sounds stupid. sounds like "sniffer".  If you have a big nose that would be really bad. Yeah, Nifer is ugly.  No offense, really.

or your initials? My neice is Jennifer and her initials are JET so I told her to call herself Jette but she changed her name to Heaven so whatever?

Have your friends given you a nickname?  I tried to give myself one and it never stuck anyway.  other people typically give you a nickname and it sticks that way, unless its obvious like you last name is Cooper and they call you "Coop"

Good luck.  People always called me Chris or Chrissy and I thought it was boring but that is better than a bad name!

My name is Jennifer too. I feel your pain but Nifer. Wow. If you are up for ridicule and jokes from others then I guess go for it. Maybe a nickname. I was never called this nor have I heard it as a nickname for Jennifer. I don't know but Nifer sounds worse than Jennifer. I'm sorry.

Nifer sounds too unrealistic. You should think about how you would like it in the future because would you like to be called something that you dislike? I think your close friends and family can call you that as a nickname but I don't think that it is appropriate enough to be changed.

Your name doesn't define you. You can be an individualist in other ways. And by changing it you are actually joining another trend which is the trend to strive to have an unusual name.

If you feel you must change it how about Jenna?  Jane? Jade?  Or do you have a cute middle name?

Nifer sounds like "knifer" aka a murderer. Plus nobody would no how to spell or pronounce it.

OMG you must be in your early teens. You can stand out from the crowd with any name, you can be special no matter your name.

Nifer is so very close to heifer,  moo!..  and is just plain odd instead of just  plain. Or  how about whiffer..honey, people are going to laugh behind your back! If you don't like your name, just make sure you don't name your daughter after you and forget about it. Your name doesn't make or break you. Changing your name..and to that one, will tell people alot about who you are and it probably isn't the impression you were trying to make. Sorry.
