My Nana's maiden name is Blackfeather her mothers maiden name was Cornsilk does anyone know what tribe these names are from? Don't ask me to ask her because she doesn't know! why would I waste five points if I could ask her myself?! think before you type please!

  1. Blackfeather is Shawnee; but i don't know about cornsilk. I hope that helps you out.


  2. Both can be used by Cherokee or Creek indians.

  3. The man shown here had a Supreme Court case in 1903. It shows his tribe: Johnson Blackfeather, the Principal Chief of the SHAWNEE  Tribe of Indians.

    Name: Martha Cornsilk

    Date of Birth: abt 1883

    Tribe: Carlisle [Cherokee]
