Yea. I've started reading more over the summer and my neck has started hurting again. It happened back in like fifth-sixth grade when i was also a big reader. But i've tried holding the book parallel, but it doesn't seem to work, plus my arms get so tired after a while. I just need a comfortable position for my neck when i read so it doesn't hurt. Any ideas?

  1. lay down flat and put a pillow under your back so your sitting almose upright, and put a pillow under your head. the pillows will keep your head comfortable.

allso take a break every 10 minutes and stretch your neck.

  2. lay on your back in bed and brop up your back and neck with pillows. Make is so you can see your book without haveing to move or un relax.

also, layout on your stomach with the book on a surface and your hewad in your hands workds too.

    i have the same problem.

  3. Buy a small pillow and place it under your neck. That is the area that needs to be supported. If  you don't; want to buy a pillow, take a bath towel, fold it length wise and roll it. Put it under your neck and you will see that it helps a great deal.

  4. That's simply because you are looking down at the book for long periods of time! Don't worry just try lying down on something comfortable with pillows supporting you're neck and stretch you're shoulders/neck before reading aha.
