He only cuts his grass one time a week. So the clippings are long. I have already asked him to stop, but he just keeps doing it. What should I do?

  1. Rake them all up and throw them in a pile in front of his door, that's what I would do.

  2. I had the same problem.  I took everything he dumped in front of my yard, and threw it back on his.  Eventually the neighbor will get the idea that, unless he quits, you'll become more aggressive--which of course you won't--and he'll stop.  Mine stopped.

  3. Rake or blow them all over his yard, make it messy looking, do this in the evening when its late to disturb him, or if you know he likes to sleep late on the weekend make a big racket in the yard with the blower and play the radio everytime real loud near his house, or just go plant some type of hedges that will divide the property  like arbovites or pine trees that grow fast. good luck!

  4. rake them all right back onto his property.  If he objects, let him know that you need to move his clippings back to his yard so that you can take care of your own grass.   Make sure to clean up yours, and not his.   Try to keep your temper, you do have to live next to him.

  5. I would keep putting them back on his property. try using a blower so he will have to rake them again.

  6. Send him a certified letter asking him to stop doing this.  If he still does it, report him to the police.  He isn't allowed to do this.

  7. Push them back on his!

If you have HOA report him,

or spread then on your grass since its good for the lawn since it retains water keeping your grass healthy
