My neighbor said her dad is going to call cps on me when my baby is born?

because im 16 and he thinks when the baby is born im too young to care for it, when my mom is helping me out taking me to the doc, today i even have an appt. at 2! im taking the medicine i should be, and im going to be starting parenting classes soon.. can he call and complain?!?!! i go to school with the daughter, and the dad is just an ***

as long as you are not holding onto anything illegal and all of your paperwork is in order, the police have no case and will probably laugh at him if they are in a good mood, or yell at him if they are not. child services on the other hand may be a different story, but going to the police will do nothing for him.

Dont worry, he can not do anything about it. The only possible thing would be if the baby was abused, neglected and he had proof. Or, if you were under the age of 16 and your boyfriend was older than 18, those are the ONLY crimes that would possible to call about. Dont worry about it, Im sure your friend is overreacting.

He can't do that.  Unless he sees you harming the baby then he would be allowed to do that.  But he cannot do that just because your young and your having a child.  As long as the child is being cared for it is none of his business if he wants to be an a** I would turn him into the cops saying he was harrassing you.

Are there drugs in the house?  Are you commiting a crime?  Will you be mistreating your child?  

If no- then they guy can call them all he wants- then HE'LL be the one getting in trouble for wasting the cops time.

Talk to your mom, and the two of you contact CPS together. Tell them about the girl's threats and ask them if there's something you can do to prevent him from causing trouble. If nothing else, you might find some extra help!

I think it's really sad of your friends dad to be wasting the time of CPS workers to have honest cases of child abuse to tend to.  If you are honestly not abusing your soon to be child, then it's really ignorant on his part to do this.

People just get all weird when they see teen parents I should know im 15 and have a 2 month old baby. He can't do anything to you and if he calls the police they won't do anything because you are doing everything you are suppose to and as long as you take care of the baby then everything will be fine. Don't worry about him just take care of  you and the baby. Good luck!!

Unless he sees you mistreating the baby or someone at your house harming it....he has no grounds for police to come to your house!

Yes, you may be too young for a baby, but with your mother helping...I think you will be ok!

He can call and complain, but if you're doing right by your baby, nobody's going to take it away. CPS may have to investigate the complaint if he phones and makes one...

he can do that but nothing will happen to u so just ignore him. you may be 16 but that dont make u too young to care for a baby, every1 is a learner for the first baby. and as i can see your takin responsibilty and you didnt choose to abort your baby. there are alot of young parents out there who become great mums and im sure you will to.. you've got support and you dont need to be a certain age to have a baby. you got pregnant at a young age and your dealin with it and good luck to you :D:D... and btw cops wont do nothin to you lol

No he can't. You have all the the rights of a parent and because your 16. You are of legal age to be a parent. He could call CPS but they would fine him for harassment. have a good life.
