We moved out of our old house a while ago, one day when we went by our old house, we realized that our neighbor's entire house was plugged in to an outside outlet from our house. We quickly unplugged it and I called the police, the police came and took a report, and tried to get my neighbor to come out and talk, but he has two gigantic dogs, and pretended not to be home. I talked with our other neighbor and found out that he's done the same thing to her, except he lied to her and told her his electricity was out because of the electricity company. The cops told us that his electricity bill is registered under two fraudulant social security numbers, his license plates to his cars are fake. His driver's license expired 15 years ago. We really have no clue what this guy's name is! We invited him into our home and trusted him. Now that we're trying to sell our house, we often come home to find our SELLERS sign knocked down, and today, when we went by, our FOR SALE sign was stolen!!! I suspect it's him. But we don't know what to do next, we don't want to make a big scene, because that will just make it harder for us to sell or rent out the house, but we want justice! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. try calling the power company, if they think they are being ripped off they will for sure see that it is taken care of

  2. Why dont you make his life misable? Cut the outside point and then leave thepoint unconnected.

Put a for sale board on his house entrance.

and see the reaction. when people find that there is some reaction things do change.

  3. If he was doing it to me, I'd send 240 volts through the 110 circuit and fry everything in his house.

  4. Can't you turn off your electricity completely..

  5. You can file a complaint with the District Attorney yourself.  You can also have the police come down and you place him under citizens arrest.  Which every citizen has a right to do.  You can also turn the power off to the house as you are the owner.  Remember to document everything and file a restraining order for documentation.

  6. Have you contacted the electric company?  I wonder if there are locking covers for the outdoor outlets.  The first answer also had a good idea about the camera.  You could also turn off the circuit breaker to the outside outlets.

  7. Go to radio shack and buy a $50.00 camera and hook it up to a video machine.  Get it on tape.  It's cheap and easy to do.

Anyone who reads this should have one for protection.

  8. Wow what a bozo.  I would set up a camera and catch him in the act.

  9. one idea..take this to the media and see if he stops after that..
