My neighbors are burning wood in their backyard. I smell smoke in my apt. Should I say something?

The neighbors are burning wood in their backyard. I hardly complain about anything that they do over there(loud dogs, super-loud tv's playing all nite). But my apt smelled of smoke all day..It got so bad that it was getting hard to breathe and I had to open some windows. People die from smoke inhalation. This happens at least twice a week. Should I say something? Pass a note under the door? And what should it say? Thanks

Hi..I'm like you..I'm the last one to complain, had the same deal..been going on for over a year..and this guy just moved in as probably an illigal tenant!! My young son said.. "Everybodys scared to complain..I had finally called the cops/fire department..and wanted to remain anonymous..I was scared to do it at first..but lemme tell you..after you do..and the cops come there with flashing huge lights..you feel so good at what you been waiting to do to this a*s H#(*&$! for over a year..What a relief!!!!!!!!!! My son gave me a high fi and he has asthma and could'nt breath..that s when I finally said.. ok..STOP!! No more!
