My neighbors dogs wont quit barking. i tried to talk to the owners but they are drunks.?

these dogs bark 24/7 over absolutely nothing at all. who do i call to get something done about it? if i try to talk to this guy again. im know im going to end up punching him in the mouth. i have kids, i cant go to jail.

Um...There is nothing you can do about a  barking dog. Dogs have a right to bark, just like humans have a right to talk.

Call the police or toss the dogs food or something to distract and keep them occupied.

Hi.

My Neighbors Dogs Are Like THat.

They Have 2.

My neighbors leave them from 7.30am to 10pm and lock them out doors.

We Have Tried To Talk To Them But Just Wanted To Fight.

I Hate People Like This That Cant Look After Animals

Call the police, chances are they are in violation of a noise ordinance.

If there is a noise bylaw then contact the bylaw officer who can fine them. If it continues they will remove the dogs.

Call animal control or the police. =\ They will handle it if you've already tried contacting your neighbors. Another thing you can do is get other neighbors (if any are around) to sign a paper stating that neighbor's dogs barks all the time and mail it in the the police as a complaint.

dude u can always call the police and ask them to go tell them to keep the dogs quite, tell them ur kids r tryin to sleep or sutin like that and they cant go to sleep with the dogs, its a law, disruption of the peace or sutin like that,

The dog is lonely if he continues to bark. Talk to the neighbor again and explain that the dog needs more interaction with them to curb the barking. If they still don't listen, call animal control and tell them the situation. They will first give them a warning. Now you may want to buy some chewy bones for the dog and a few large toys ( to prevent choking) so the dog will have something to do. Too bad the dog was not yours, I'm sure that he would have a better life. Good luck.

If you can...video the dogs barking...in your own yard. So this way you have proof.  Also you can call the non emergency number at your local police department and file a complaint.  Also call your local animal control.  The dogs are barking maybe due to not have food, water, or attention.  This is abuse in my opinion.  I mean dogs need love and attention also...so they are probably bored so they bark...but does not mean you have to listen to it..so just call.  If you have talked to him before and it has not worked then I would not go to him anymore.  Take care of this yourself and make that call, so you do not get arrested for punching him...not that I blame you...but the poor dogs..I feel for them. Good luck on your dilemma.

You would NOT want to soak a couple small foam balls in bacon grease and throw it to the dogs when no one was looking, because the foam would get caught in the dog’s digestive track, and they might possibly die
