I live in an apartment building and a couple upstairs told me and my husband once that the neighbors across the hall from us were having s*x and they left their blinds open and their window open during broad daylight. The man's wife was outside and saw the woman and her husband having s*x. Well today I went outside to walk my dog and as soon as the door closed I could hear them loudly. The worst part is it sounds like they intentionally got louder since they knew someone would be around... Can I report these people to my landlord? It's really disgusting and I have 2 kids at home. Is this illegal in any nature? I don't know what to do since they are in they're own apartment...

  1. If you had children's and they are leaving their blinds open and making s*x noise, you can report that to your landlord.

  2. Why don't I have neighbors like that? I would enjoy it.  I understand your problem though and you don't like it.  I think you sould leave a note on their door making them aware of the problem and your concern as a neighbor (you don't need to let them know who you are).  Be nice though, but let them know if they don't tone it down that you will let the landlord and the authorties know.  There is no reason for them to be that loud if the windows and doors are open.  Best of luck.

  3. No it is not illegal to be loud or have windows open. they get a kick out of knowing people know. Now with the blinds open it may  and this is a big MAY be an exposure thing but chances are cops won't get involved.

There is very little you can do and there is nothing the landlord can do

  4. Post it on the internet.

    Send it to their friends.

  5. If you're absolutely sure that it's going to affect your children's emotions or thinking, you can definitely report it to your landlord.

Besides, its not even right for them to leave their windows open like that.

    Hope this helps

  6. You need to report that to your city officials.

  7. I had the same neighbors!! the complex signed papers and we had them evicted....

    call the cops...

  8. TELL YOU LANDLORD...I MEAN YOU HAVE KIDS AND THEY CANT BE EXPOSED TO THAT NATURE....TELL THE LANDLORD YOU DONT WANT THEM TO KNOW YOU TOLD ON THEM BECAUSE IT LOOK BAD BUT HAVING s*x IN FRONT OF YOU KIDS IS WORSE...

    GOOD LUCK =]

  9. i suggest telling your landlord. it is bothering you and your kids. no body needs to see that.

  10. tell them that everyone can hear them having s*x and not just you has a problem with it. If that doesn't work go to their hall way that they use to get into there house a write a potion stating that they are loaud and everyone knows when they are having s*x and who would like them to move out with all the nieghbors signed names on it and maybe once you out there business even more out for all those to see they will respect you wishes.

  11. Call the police.  If they are leaving their blinds open, it's public indecency and they will most likely be cited and fined.

  12. You can always ask them directly, if you want to be direct.  If you feel uncomfortable mentioning their s*x life - you might want to slip a small note under their door.

    Write

"Hey, you guys are better than most cable shows - but little children can hear you.  Could you close your windows when you're getting all "Animal Planet" together?"

They may be youngsters and not even realize anyone's listening or cares.

If they're exhibitionists - tell the landlord.  It can be considered a public nuisance.

  13. Call the cops and let the cops come see and listen for them selves bet they go straight to jail.  It's called indecent exposure and it is very wrong.

  14. Put a note under their door, or scrunch it up and throw it through their window, saying "Get a hotel room!"

  15. you need to have a huge hairy man with a really deep husky voice, cheer them on in front of your window. I'm sure they wouldn't enjoy that.

  16. Cheer for them. "Yea, hit it, hit it"

  17. I don't know that there is much you can do about the "noises" but if they are in plain view of the street or common area I would think a call to the local authorities would be an option you might want to consider.

I think if I were in your position I would find some way to jokingly bring it up to them first and explain that the kids don't really need to see or hear these things just yet. If that didn't have any effect then I would definitely call the police and see what could be done.
