  1. do you live in the city? You need to contact the code enforcement officer, wheter it be county or city. Another angle you could attack him from is through thee humane society or SPCA, whatever they call it there. there are rules about the distances it has to be from a dwelling.

  2. I just heard about a similar situation in the state I live in.

It depends upon the law in your area.

Try contacting your local government. Probably would be a county issue. You could also try contacting your city government.

But there probably is some department, maybe a code enforcement department in your county that would govern over such matters.

You could file a complaint with them, and they'll likely come out and inspect.

  3. if it is stopping you from enjoying your property, like noise, smells like c**p, whatever, you may be able to something....you'll need to see a solicitor

  4. Check with your county administrator.  If the property is zoned for agriculture you may have to resort to health authorities, etc.  There may be a zoning violation if your property and your neighbors property are zoned for residential use.  Pigs and chickens are not usually permitted on residential zoned property.

    thanks

  5. you need to go to the Land Registry and obtain details of both his and your property title details (office copy entries).  Here it should state whether any animals etc are allowed or not allowed on the land and your rights etc.

If the property is leasehold, then you need to obtain a copy of the Lease for his property also as these will details even further rules and regulations for using the land
