my neon tetras died due to ICK .. how do i reuse the tank

and the decoration for my betta that's been there in a separate bowl...

you can use bleach.

not a lot of it. but a tad. like she said 20/1.

plus, you'd have to wash it afterwards anyway.

Simple.. just wash them with HOT WATER!!!

sock it there for awhile n redo the process for a few times..

after that, should be able to reuse..

Btw, to prevent ICK, use AQUA salt

You could treat the empty tank with a lot of anti-ick meds.  The safest thing would probably be to take everything out and clean it all in boiling water.  Just dunk it for about 2-3 minutes to be sure to kill anything that is on it.

clean it thoughly with sterilized boiled water this will kill any bacteria from the ick

Ick can be eliminated by heat.  If you notice your fish have ick, slowly increase the temperature by a few degrees and it will take care of the ick.

I increased the temp in my tank from about 78 to about 85 degrees (a couple of degrees per day) and within about a week it was clear.

Do not use any type of chemical that is not meant for aquariums!
