My network adapter is down.. Any help?

I have an Dell Inspiron 1721 notebook and i recently reinstalled windows vista on it. I reinstalled all the disks the notebook came with. correctly?.. I'm pretty sure, but now my notebook no longer picks up wifi connection like it used to. Apparently my network adapter is down and now I'm stuck. any help would be greatly appreciated, since my warranty is up and taking it to geek squad would be at least 75$

reinstalling your lan card driver may fix that problem...

search for yr latest drivers...
