We got these yesterday, and were fairly active yesterday, today however only 1 of them has moved in 4 hours, 1 of them is clinging to the tank about an inch above the water level, is this normal? should i push them down?

  1. Well, every once in a while I get worried when my frogs on't move, so I reach in and tuch them. Then they will swim down. A dead frog will sink tho, or at least that is what I have noticed. I think you are talking about the "zen" position, they can sit there for a while! lol! They either float of stay at the bottom. Don't mess with them unless they do not take a breath of air in the next hour.

  2. I HAVE HAD ALOT OF THESE FROGS AND WITH THEM BEING AMPHIBIANS ITS NATURAL FOR THEM TO CLIMB OUT OF THE TANK SO KEEP YOUR LID SHUT AND THEY ARE NEW TO YOUR TANK AND MAY WANT TO GET OUT AND THEY ALSO LOVE LIVE PLANTS THAT IS WHAT ENCOURAGED MY FROG TO STAY IN THE TANK

  3. no leave the frogs they dont tend to move around alot at all although mine goes whereever he wants too just comes to the top for air when he wants to,if u want to check they are still alive then yes just move them with yr finger hope this helps u out
