My new Bushnell Velocity 10

My new Bushnell Velocity 10 MPH - 200 MPH Point and Shoot Radar Gun does not work. I get the same reading over and over again, despite trying to measure speed of objects (both pitched baseballs and moving vehicles) known to be moving different speeds. Any ideas?
