  1. means you don't have to get special cords or dvd player or you know just means you make sure you have other hd or blu-ray products to go with that tv and movies that say blu-ray as well you'll be in tv/movie quality heaven you lucky -----

  2. clearly you bought a Sony TV, and those stickers are a marketing gimmick telling you that the HDTV will display Blu Ray  discs and PS3 games in high def. Of course any other HDTV will, too.

But Sony wouldn't want you to buy a non-Sony tv for your PS3 or an Xbox 360 to go with your Sony HDTV because that would mean less $$$ going to them. :) Of course theres no reason why you can't, a similar HDTV from anyone else would work fine.

  3. that means you can play blue ray dvd on it

  4. Marketing hype for Blu Ray, probably getting kickbacks from Sony.  Any HDTV with an HDMI input is "Blu Ray" ready, or ready for an upconvert DVD player for that matter which looks just as good - for a lot less.

  5. it means that its capable of handling those functions, you can play bluray and ps3 on it.

if u buy a ps3 it has a blu ray player in it and the graphics are friggin AWESOME

  6. It will play blu ray movies as well as hddvds
