My new Hamster?

Question

Well I got a new hamster cause my school gave it to me. But this hamster is not normal. Trust me I had Lots of hamsters and i know lots of things about them.

This hamster feels weird when i carry it.It only sleeps and eats all the time,never runs on her wheel. When i carry it it feels like the hamster is just lying around,and walking. Plus I can not feel his Tail!!!! I know this is bad so what's his problem.

ok........maybe ur hamster is pregnant....either way take him/her to the vet.....just to make sure....if u cant go to the vet....her r some syptoms of hamster pregnancy:

~dig alot

~eat alot/drink alot(store lots of food in its cheeks)

~make a nest

~bit alot

also if she is pregnant and has babies dont touch them for 2 weeks or she might smell a different smell on the hamsters and eat them....if any other hamsters r in the cage seperate them

~if its a boy i would try to get it to a vet

What do you mean feels weird when you carry it? Do you know how old it is? It could be elderly, or sick. Hamsters don't really have tails, they barely have nubs. He could be in shock from moving from place to place. Try giving fresh veggies such as carrots and cabbage. Too much lettuce will cause diarrhea. Try getting hamster/gerbil water soluble vitamins. Does her p**p look watery and does it smell bad? If so she could have wet tail, you'll need medicine you can get from a pet store, either giving it to her into her mouth or putting into food/water. I need more details to be sure.

its old it has the same signs as my hamster get the shovel jk but it is old

I also got one hamster that his butt got some problem. I just don't know what happen! I think yours is eaten too much food and it is lazy or it is a guinea pig. If not go to a vet.
