My new PSU only has a 4pin CPU connector but the mobo i want has 8 pin connector. how can i make my PSU work?

I bought a brand new Thermaltake Modular PSu that is 550 watt but i want a new mobo. The mobo i want has an 8pin CPU connector but my PSU has a 4pin. how can i make my PSU work on this mobo?

  3. Some motherboards have a 8pin connector, but it only requires you to plug in a 4pin connector. This is only with some. Read the manual before attempting this, as it could fry your motherboard.

    The motherboard should have came with a 4pin to 8pin connector. If not, you can go to your local computer store and buy one there.

    The form factor of your motherboard is called EPS12V. Your second option is to get a power supply unit that supports this form factor.
