Question:

My new Samsung Glyde from Verizon is broken from water damage. Is there anything Verizon will do for me?

I don't have insurance on it. Will I have to buy a brand new phone??

  1. You should remove the battery and check the moisture indicators, the little white stickers with pink dots (they turn completely pink when they get wet.)  There should be one on the battery, and one in the battery compartment.  If they are still white/ pink dots, then take it to Verizon and tell them it just quit working.  They should order you a replacement, just don't mention the water damage.  If the stickers are all pink, I'd suggest ebay.  It would still be worth asking if there's anything they'll do, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
