  1. completely normal, especially at night... i always have to kick mine out of my room because he makes too much noise!! they bite their cage, and run around, climb up the walls. perfectly normal

  2. go to walmart and get her one of those balls the cover locks and she can run around where ever she wants.

  3. mine does that too! she hangs from the ceiling and then falls down. and she will continuously gnaw at the bars by the door. don't worry. your hamster is normal :)

  4. yes this is my first hamsters did this till they got used to the cage i suggest placing the cage where the bars are facing a wall until they get used to the cage. hope this helps.

  5. Completely normal.  She probably wants to be held a lot.  And you might want to just try that and message me on yahoo 360 I'm popstar1324 or you can email me at popstar1324@yahoo.com.

  6. It's probably normal.

My new guinea pig does the same thing!

    Just put it this way-

If you were trapped in a cage with no thumbs, what would you do?

    He will get over it!

    Hope this helps

  7. yes, this is normal. she's checking out her new environment. besides, even hamsters that have been in the same home for awhile will try to get out sometimes. we've had ours for more than a year, and he tests his cage often. (just make sure he gets enough time outside the cage)

    i hope this helps
