  1. Forgive me for my long answer, but I will attempt to be well rounded. There aren't any home remedies for worms in cats, dogs, etc. It could be any of a few dozen or so types of parasites which is why a specialist should be consulted. The natural cycle (in very laymen's terms) is that worms enter the mouth in the form of eggs by food, or something else, and then the larva hatch and form a cyst in the muscle tissues where they metamorphosize, and then they migrate to wherever in the body they feed as adults. They can cause diarrhea, muscle cramps, intense pain, significant loss of weight, internal hemorrhaging, blocking blood flow in arteries, etc. Another sign is the stomach being distended or bloated looking because of the worms inside it. They lay eggs that are passed in f***s. Once there are too many worms, they do something very ugly, and they exit. Worms can seriously crawl out of the animal through the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and yes, even make their own openings (depending on the type) and dig their way painfully out the normal tissues where there aren't already openings. The thing is, that kitten is probably near death if it won't move, not to mention will bearly drink, won't eat, and is hella skinny. A person may get away with not eating for a while, but you have to remember a kitten is a baby. You really need to take it to the vet, or if you can't afford the vet (de-worming pills don't cost much) then I beg you to take it to the pound first thing, even if you have to call them and tell them it's an emergency, because somebody needs to treat it or it'll die soon. Just a fact of life. Parasites on kittens produce a much larger mortality rate than those in adults.

  2. Your cat and dog are not safe from heartworms. Heartworms can cause substantial damage to your pets’ hearts and lungs, and these parasites are transmitted by mosquitoes. They are about 6 inches in length and live mostly in the right side of your pets’ heart and the large blood vessel, which brings the oxygen from the lungs to the heart. The adult heartworms live in the heart where they later cause the vessel to thicken or become inflamed. If your pet is not treated, heart disease or even dying can occur.

These baby heartworms or larvae are transferred by mosquitoes. A mosquito can bite the infected animal, and later, this same mosquito can bite your pet and inject the larvae into the pet’s bloodstream. From the time your pet was bitten by a carrier mosquito, it would’ve taken a cycle of almost seven months for adult heartworms to produce numerous larvae. Infection of these parasites is preventable with medications, and treatment is available for your pets already infected with these parasites.

  3. Sorry, don't know of any home remedies.  Looks like your gonna have to wait it out till morning.  Your gonna have to keep him locked up til u can get him to the vet.  Too bad that your vet couldnt help ya out with that situation.  Good luck with that!

  4. Give a dewormer to help your kitten grow fat.

  5. gee....y dont you lend money from da bank???

  6. Do not worry!!!! This is called tape warms and cats get them if they swallow  fleas. If you go to a vet you can ask to get just that taken care of it is only around $20- $40. My cat had that before and with one dose it went away. Those small White worms you see are segments of a bigger worm inside. Also there are no home remedies for tape worms I tried a dewormer but did not work.
