Question:

My new prescription colored contacts appear blurry when wearing them?

Yesterday I got some new dark blue Acubue 2 prescription colored contacts from my eye doctor, but when I wear them my vision gets blurry. They are the right prescription for me and my regular clear contacts don't look blurry. I don't think it's because I'm seeing the blue part of the contact because my pupils are really small and they are so small that you can still see some of the brown of my eye around the pupils. Do I just need to get use to these new colored contacts or am I doomed to wear my clear contacts forever???

  1. Hey :) I just got colored contacts like a month ago and I was making the mistake of wearing them inside out EVEN THOUGH I THOUGHT I was wearing them the right way :) When you put them in check and see which one is blurry that day ( it may alternate due to the fact that one could be inside-out) If they are fine, then they are in right. If one looks blurry..take it out and flip it the other way. I hope this helps.. I had the same problem. You might think it's right..when it isnt :)
