  1. Yes, it's perfectly normal - it's a wound that's healing. Your tattooist should have told you what to expect. Don't pick at it - you could remove some of the ink and make it look patchy. Keep it clean and moisturised and it'll be fine.

  2. DO NOT PICK AT IT! it will ruin it. your tattoo artist didn't explain this to u??? its going to peel for the first week to 2 weeks. itll look like c**p while its peeling but this is ur skin healing the skin that the tattoo is on. youre supposed to use a lotion, like aveeno or 'tattoo goo' which u can buy at tattoo shops, putting lotion on will keep it hydrated and help the peeling process along. you are supposed to apply lotion 2 to 3 times a day. but dont overuse the lotion either b/c this could smear your tattoo and it will stay like that. you want to apply just enough so there is a light coat over the whole tattoo. when picking a lotion to use get something that is fragrance free and light aveeno is a really really good choice. but definitely dont pick at the tattoo!!!!!!

  3. ya its perfectly normal, my uncle got one and his was peeling and he said  (cause he has like 3 other ones) that all of then did that and that it should go away in a few days!!!

    hope this helps

  4. its perfectly normal, your tattoo will scab and peel the same colour as your ink..

its important not to pick it or scratch it too much..

apply bepanthen or a similar cream to keep it moist, continue this until it heals, which is around 2 weeks..

continue to put cream on for a further week after it heals as the skin becomes very dry compared to normal skin.

put cling wrap on your tattoo for a few days after wards, the longer the glad wrap is on the quicker it will heal..

try not to sweat too much by exercising, as the ink can come out..

if u need any more help feel free to ask, my mums a tattoo artist so i can give u some hints :)

  5. Yeah it's just the scab coming off, just leave it a few more days and it'll be fine.

  6. Yet another irresponsible tattoo shop that don't give the right advise to their customers, they should have told you to expect this, it is totally normal

  7. Don't pick it. You will end up with an infected tattoo, and lose the majority of the color wherever you picked at it. It's not worth it to have to go back and get it done again.

The scabs will fall off naturally. Just keep the area semi-moisturized. Don't drench your tattoo.

  8. Yeah if its peeling this is a good sign, your healing properly... next thing you know its going to itch like an s.o.b. all of this is normal. Dont pick it and if the itchies are bugging you just lightly slap it. It may also look like your loosing ink and its all coming off onto the peeling skin, dont worry this is also normal... people usually freak out when they see this happening, your ink is safely kept under the dermis, the deeper part of your skin... its not going anywhere any time soon. :) good luck with your new tattoo, hope it looks awesome!

  9. in the future, you might want to have a clue about what will happen after you get a tattoo

or, you might want to use the Yahoo Answers Search Bar before asking a question that's been asked a thousand times

    http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_r...

    it's normal

....not knowing these basic things before you get a tattoo (or use Yahoo Answers) is not normal

    have an excellent day

  10. leave it just put vaseline on it!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. don't pick keep it clean use lots of lotion, where you got it at did they should have given you a care sheet how to take care of it, if when it heals it looks messed up I would go back to where you got it and see if they will do a touch up.  Most people do that for free, I do.  Good luck

  12. yep... don't pick
