I was trying to figure out how to get the videos off of it. do i use my usb cord or my sd card and put them in my computer? i've been using windows movie maker but i can't find a file that the videos are going to the computer. does anyone know how to do this? by the way in the instructions it didn't say anything about uploading videos to movie maker.

  1. If the camera came with some sort of software, that is usually the way the videos are converted into recognizable formats for WMM.

  2. If you set your camera to record video in AVI then you can upload the video from your camera to your computer by attaching the usb cable.  You don't really need to install the Canon software because windows has a image upload program that will pull the images and videos off your camera when you connect them.  The videos will go to where it is set to go to which is probably in your documents folder in pictures.
