My new wooden patio is covered in earwigs..how can I get rid of them. Any suggestions

Earwigs like a cool, dark and damp environment. There must be a rotting woodpile or something nearby where they're making a home. Clean it up and leave some rolled newspapers on the deck. The earwigs crawl inside and you can dispose of them in that way.
