  1. Juz recycle, reuse and reduce!! The best way to go ~GREEN~.

    :)

  2. recycle and reuse. lead by example.

  3. The best way to lead is to lead by example.

Do what ever you can, every little thing helps.  People will eventually notice and ask you about it, you can then explain your reasons for doing so.

Turn lights off when not needed.

Turn the heat down (or air conditioning up or even off).

Unplug things like cell phone chargers when not using to charge.

Drink tap water instead of bottled water.

    Recycle.

Learn how to mend your cloths.

  4. You can start small with the resources you have. You don't have to go out and do something big and extravagant to be beneficial. Little things can be done in the environment you are in.

I have started to recycle my cigarette packs. (I see so many people throw them away and they are cardboard so why not recycle them?!) Even if you don't smoke you can encourage those who do to recycle. Word is contagious! Facts are helpful too. If someone threw away a pack a day that's 360 a year!

*Reuse plastic bags you get from the grocery store at least twice!

    *Take shorter showers.

Tell people about your plans. Support and encourage people to do something good too! If they see the examples you are setting they could be motivated to join.

Or you could do something like getting together with friends and going to the beach. Spend part of the day picking up trash and the other part rewarding yourselves for doing good!

  5. Gosh, there are several options, depending on how far you want to go.  I am a single mom living in a city and here's what I do:

    1.  Become vegan (no animal products at all)--if that's too drastic, eat less meat, you know, only twice a week instead of every day

    2.  Recycle  paper, plastic, and tin cans

    3.  Take my own bags to the grocery store

    4.  Switched all my light bulbs to the swirly low-energy kind

    5.  Only dry some of my clothes (installed a retractable clothesline in my laundry room)

There are lots of things I want to do, too, like

    1.  Ride my bike more

    2.  Grow my own veggies (harder in an apartment)

  6. Well i guess putting it on here was one thing.

I don't know though after all its your new years resolution, you can't really ask people to do a certain new years resolution can you.

  7. Switch to eco-friendly lightbulbs. Take 5min. showers to conserve water. Bike or walk somewhere instead of taking a car. Switch to E85 or electric car. Turn off the lights when you leave a room. To help others follow you, tell them what will happen if we don't do this, start a club for people who want to protect the enviorment. hope this helps.

  8. Hug a tree!  Tell your friends about it!  Get them to have a tree hugging party!  The more that do it, the more wacos will be off the roads.

  9. Hey you have started already! There is so much you can do, change the mind of skeptics, consume less, turn off lights at not only your house but at the houses of your friends, plant a tree, pick up a piece of garbage, anything, walk don't drive, be aware of your surroundings and your impact. It is not hard to make a difference.

You can influence people to follow by setting a good example.

  10. Go  Vegetarian

Its more effective that not using your car! and much easier .
