  1. that is totally normal.  Newborns can go a whole week without pooping, especially if they are breast fed.  As long as she is peeing, she is fine.

  2. noo she is fine. sometimes they dont p**p all day. sometimes they p**p like 5 times a day, it is normal

  3. Just keep feeding, if it goes over 3 days and she still hasnt went then call her doctor.

  4. no don't worry i had the same problem with my son he still does it and he is 4 months old. my doctor told me as long as he went at least once in a 24 hour period he is fine and if she don't go just go to a pharmacy and get infant suppositories and after you feed her wait about 20 min and stick one in her bum and wait soon she will go it makes them get the urge to go and it is not habit forming and does not hurt at all i keep them on hand and still have to use one at least once a week when he don't go.

  5. No, but when she does p**p prepare for a 'throw-that-outfit-away-put-baby-in-tub' p**p.

  6. It's completely normal. Anywhere from 3 times a day to 2-3 times a week is considered normal. Don't start worrying until it's been 3-4 days between poops.

  7. no, Ive read its normal for babies in their 2nd month to decrease in bowel movements

  8. Nope.  At that age they wont always p**p every day.  As long as she is still taking the same amount of breastmilk/formula, especially if she still has the same number of wet diapers, then she's fine.

  9. Newborns don't always have a bowel movement every single day.

  10. As long as they are wetting their diaper you are ok!! Some Dr.'s say this is ok and some are completely against it but if you give him/her a little but of water it will help speed it up. You just want to be really carefull because if they are use to thick milk the water is so thin they can choke a lil easier. But nothing to work up just sit them up and pat on their back!!

    Congrats!! Babies are AMAZING!!
