My niece 8 months has double pneumonia how bad is this?

they are taking her to a bigger hospital an hour away who has a baby lunch specialist. Should I take off work how bad is this? Will she be okay?

this is very serious. Yes take off work. I dont want to scare you but her life is in danger

My son had it when he was older..I would say for a little one, it's serious..IF you should take off work or not, depends on the parents. Do they want the support there, or do they need it? Once they get the babe on antibiotics, it should clear up pretty quick..I would really just stay in touch with them to see how things are going. Good luck

your neice....it depends  on whether mom needs you really, we dont know how close a relationship you  have with them, it can be very serious, and your sister may need you for support.
