My niece had a 103.7 fever 1 week ago so my sister took her to the E.R the said she had strep throat

4 days later she was not doing any better on the antibiotics and still running a fever so my sister took her to the E.R again but this time they said she was running a fever due too her getting her first molars

Today we seen my niece for the first time since she has been sick and It looks like she has lost 10 pounds this is a lot for a 2 year old who weighs about 40 pounds normally also she didn’t pee not one time in the 5 hours she was around us and she doesn’t want to eat or drink anything she keeps asking for gum?

So we insisted that se go to the E.R. again today and this time the sent her home saying she has gingivitis

What in the world is going on? I’m very worried….. My niece looks very sick she kooks like she has leukemia but has hair, she even had dark circles around her eyes.. What could be wrong with her please help

go to the hospital n demand a straight answer ...n if they say its something else on top of the 100 other things they told u it was.. get mad n say   ur saying its this n that ..wats wrong... get some test done ... i think she should stay a night in the hospital just so they can watch her!.....it could be everything  their telling u it on top of one another if u get what i am saying!  i wouldnt leave the hospital with out knowing whats wrong.. if the meds arent working tell them! hope i helped... u can email me!

yes I'd go back to the hospital and ask for a new dr. and demand a straight answer

She needs to skip the ER and take her to a pediatrician.  She needs to have her own regular doctor who knows her medical problems and history.  Too many times in the ER you can get misdiagnosed because many things have the same symptoms.  With the fever and dark circles under her eyes plus the fever, this child could be very ill.  Take her to a pediatrician asap. If she still has a fever, it is very common not to have to pee as much as one usually does.  The fever itself can be very serious in one so young...
