  1. Please don't put your child into this world. Let her just be a kid. She has her whole life to work and to worry about her appearance! Don't make this HUGE mistake of starting her on this path.

  2. don't waste your time.

your niece won't be getting any deals whatsoever.

people call into these companies all the time.

you'll be directed to a phone line that will put you on hold for a long time, then they will say "we cannot help you at this time, please call again later"

  3. Best way to build a free portfolio is to find some photographers in your area and ask them if they would like to do some "Test Shoots"

Test shoots are for building the photographers portfolio. Most of the time they will give you a free copy of the shoot since you're doing them a favor. Do that with 5 photographers and you'll have a huge free portfolio!

  4. I've always thought it was sad when we have to spend our entire adult life working that someone would want to put their child in the work force at such a young age. We need to just let our kids be kids.

  5. just go to an agency or become an agent for her yourself and find out everything and beg and beg for auditions

    She should get thru

i look forward to seeing her

  6. You usually have to spend money to make money. Unless you have connections in the "business," plan on spending more than  just her portfolio. Be happy that you have such a wonderful and beautiful niece! It's only my opinion, but a modeling career at such a young age only emphasizes the fact that beauty is all that matters in todays society, and it almost always causes self-esteem and perfectionism issues. I know, I'm one of them! Let her grow up in her own right! However, if you're still interested, I would start small. Check craigslist, they often have listings and casting calls for things such as this. Hope that helps!
