My niece just got 2 teeth extractions?

my 13 yr old niece is staying over tonight and had 2 teeth extractions (premolars on the top i think) well she got them out at about 12:30 and its alreadt 2:30, how long will it continue to bleed? she changes the guaze thing every 20-30mins or so. shes really thirsty and im not sure if she'll be able to drink? i wasnt the one that took her to the oral surgeon it was her mom so i wouldnt know?

Give her some Ice cubes to suck on

NO ICE CUBES, ICE CHIPS, OR STRAWS! trust me, that will put her at risk for dry socket, which is described as being more painful that childbirth! she can drink, but make sure its not too cold or hot. and the bleeding goes down after about 5 hours, well for me it did, and i got 5 teeth pulled (3 molars) its painful, good luck with her :/ and yes, a cold tea bag works.

It will bleed for a couple of days, so just change the wads of guaze when they become apparently soaked.  She'll be thirsty for sure but don't let her drink from a straw or it causes dry socket.  It's easy from there.

I had the same extractions a week ago. The bleeding stopped after 4 hours, but towards the end I didn't change the gauze so often. As long as the gauze doesn't get red with blood right away, she should leave it on and bite down, so to put pressure on the site of the extraction and so that the blod clot forms. leave it that way for 1 hour without moving it, and you'll see that after the bleeding will have stopped.

i cant remember.. but i know she shouldnt spit or gargle or anything like that.. it will stop bleeding.. when i got my wisdom teeth taken out they told me to put a tea bag on it.. i cant remember if it was supposed to be wet or what ..
