My nieghbors are horrible parents?

My neighbors are horrible parents they let their children run around in the road while they are not watching. THey let their daughter who has to be at least 4 years old run around in the front yard and the road in nothing but her panties. Should told me that I should call child protective services on them. What should I do about them?

The kids are more important. They need to be safe. just call protective services. they will check it out. and if everythings fine then whats the problem that they just checked up?? theres no harm in that.

I think you should confront them. Make sure they understand. And if not, make it your job to make sure the children are okay. No one wants to call CPS. But if you realize the children are truly in danger, you should. Maybe you don't want to take the kids,  keep in mind that it will be hard for them to adjust to a new random family than a family they know. And, if you leave them, it can be a potentially dangerous situation.

The need to be reported 4 year old have no business anywhere near the road they are endangering her life.

It's not right...I would not call child protective services, I would call to make a police report..a complaint of their little children running in the street, disturbing traffic.  Let the police department take it into their hands

Call the police and report the situation next time you see the little girl or any youngster in the road and there is no parent within eyesight.  You don't need to leave your name just tell them that there is toddler aged children playing alone in the street and one of them almost got hit by a car and you don't see an adult anywhere for like and hour and you are afraid they may be home alone again.  That should peek the interest of the police to get them to come over.

There's probably not much you can do about it unless you are aware that the kids are being seriously neglected, or are being put in immediate danger.
