it never hurt like this during cross country season. but i ran the mile today. im 13 5'5 and i weigh 129pounds. My mile time was 6:59 minutes. At the beginning i was breathing in and out thru my mouth then around the 3rd lap i started breathing in thru my nose and out the mouth. when i was finished i wasnt panting. i just collapsed on the floor. and my nose was stinging like really bad and i couldnt swallow or breathe thru my nose or it'll hurt really bad. it still hurts right now and its been like 6 hours since the race.

  4. your only 13 , the more you run , the more air you will need, its probalaby because of your lungs, and have asthma

  5. you need better workouts, they are too easy Your body isnt used to running hard and going into oxygen debt, thats why you are hurting.

  6. thats really wierd go see a doctor.

  7. Maybe you're sick. I am 12 and my mile is 7'04, so you got me beat :)

When I was sick, the same thing happened to me. Don't worry, if you're still sick for weeks to come, then you should run more so your body gets used to running while it's ill.

It might have just been the weather.
