  1. Take it out immediately if it don't clear go to the doctors for some antibiotics.

  2. Get rid of it or you won't have a nose

  3. Do NOT take it out.  That traps infection.  Soak it with SEA salt- you can get it at the grocery store.

Use that once a day for at least 5 minutes, with hotish water.  It works so well.

Also, do NOT use polysporin or anything like that.  It traps bacteria in its gooeyness, making an awful mess of it.

  4. Well what do you mean by infection?

Yellow or green pus is a major sign of infection.

If it's just red, swollen, irritated, or has a white or clear discharge then it's fine.

    DO NOT take it out.

It will just trap the bacteria under the surface of the skin so it won't be able to heal.

DO NOT put neosporin, bactine, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, bandages, or anything like that on the piercing.

The only thing you can do for now is to clean the piercing and make sure not to touch it or bump into it with anything.

To clean the piercing, first wash your hands.

Then wash the nose with unscented anti-bacterial soap.

Then mix 1/4 teaspoon non-iodized sea salt with 8 oz. distilled water and soak the piercing in that for 3-5 minutes. You could replace the sea salt soak with H2Ocean spray.

Clean twice daily, or only once daily if your nose dries out badly.

  5. depends on if you got it pierced with a gun or needle.  If it was a gun it will most likely not heal.  If it was by needle you may be cleaning it too much or you might be reacting to nicol in the metal.

  6. Keep it clean and make sure you are soaking it in the salt water solution and washing it with the right kind of soap, nothing "anti bacterial" antibacterial stuff just kills the good bacteria needed to fight the infection! Dont wear any make up on your nose either because it could make the infection worse! If it does not get any better you may have to take it out! Hope it clears on its own!!!! Good luck!

  7. contact a doctor, or the piercer and seek advice from them.

don't just take it out, it will get worse.

  8. Just clean it twice a day.

    Use anti-bacterial soap and use a Q-tip.

You can also do a sea salt soak if you like.

When you pat off your nose use a paper towel, do not use a bath towel.

Make sure not to touch or mess with your piercing unless your hands are fully clean!

Do not use, alcohol anything that contains alcohol, peroxide, bactine, or ointments.  They will only irritate your piercing and not aid in healing.

What did you get it pierced with?

If you got it done with a needle the infection should be easy to rid of.  If you got it done with a gun your best bet would be to take it out and get it redone the right way.  But if you take it out remember to clean it until it heals.

  9. TCP works well at clearing up infections, I use it on all my piercings.

  10. don't use table salt to clean it, use sea salt which you can find at the grocery store. mix some up with warm water and either soak your lip in it or dip a q-tip or cotton swab and gently wipe the piercing with it

  11. peroxide to fight the infection and u can use like neosporin or the triple antibiotic cream
